w00t, more people have joined! :::does the happy dance:::

Post & suggest your ideas for the group book for may! :D :D :D Or just...say hi... XD

Also please let me know your favourite authors so I can add 'em on to the interests list. I suffered a brain blank earlier and managed only about 5.

Authors: Philip Pullman, Goeff Ryman, Tricia Sullivan, Neil Gaiman, Terry Pratchett, Kyle Baker, Diana Wynne Jones, Gardner Doizois, and alot more that I'd be able to think of if it wasn't like after midnight......

also, I recommend 253 for a bookclub book, 'cause it's good. I'll do a description in the morning......
*waves*
Have joined. Which is quite ironic because I don't actually read books anymore, I just hoard them to decorate my room with. XD

I don't think you get my 5 favourite authors because I'm not sure I have them. What you get instead is a random selection of authors who I happen to remember I like at the moment. J.R.R. Tolkien, Doris Lessing, Ursula Le Guin, Hayao Miyazaki (for the Nausicaa manga), Robin Hobb... ... OK, I think I ran out for the moment. Karen stole some of my others already. ... Theres also some Japanese bloke I really like, but while I can cope with his books, I lose at reading his name XD. So he doesn't get to go here.

Some random names (well, not all that random, being authors that I like and all): Andrey Kurkov, Malcolm Pryce, Niall Griffiths, Paul Auster, Kurt Vonnegut, Lemony Snicket!

That's all for now. I'm liking the book suggestions so far, looking forward to reading whatever gets chosen!
Rah, teh joineded.

Robin Hobb, Terry Pratchett, David Eddings, Robert Jordan (teh slow), Terry Goodkind, Weis & Hickman (also seperate as Margaret Weis and Tracy Hickman), Anne McCaffrey, J.K. Rowling, Philip Pullman, Susan Cooper (of The Dark is Rising fame).

And for Dan - Dan Simmonds, Frank Herbert.

I'm sure there are more for both of us, but bleh.
